Serrated Bottom Inserts

For over 30 years, The Viking Tool Company has been manufacturing serrated bottom inserts, providing our customers with outstanding performance and productivity in many difficult applications.

The serrated insert concept was developed by Viking Tool to provide better insert stability, surpassing vee bottom and top notch designs in many applications. The precisely ground serrations provide very accurate indexibility and interchangeability, as well as maximum resistance to movement in all directions. The stability and positive locking provided by the serrations allows the use of smaller, more economical inserts in very confined machining areas.
